February 2011 – Half Term Theatre Sessions

Following the great enthusiasm shown for the MYT October sessions we are please to confirm that MYT will be running again this February half term; Monday 21st February – Wednesday 23rd February from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

It is open to all children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18. We accept applications from all members of the community. There are 30 places available for the sessions. Our Vision

Our vision for Manning Youth Theatre is to give young people access to opportunities in the Arts, which provide an invaluable sense of achievement and success. To include all and celebrate life.
MYT is open to the wider community, encompassing all ethnic backgrounds, genders and disabilities. We are committed to providing opportunities for all young people, regardless of financial circumstances and any other barriers. All activities and experiences offered by MYT are free of charge.
Members should be between the ages of 8 and 18, with a genuine interest in the Arts and be able to demonstrate commitment to learning and dedication when being involved.
Benefits of participation in the Arts include improvements in self-esteem and attitudes towards others. Progress can be made in development of skills, knowledge and understanding. MYT aim to provide personal, social and educational skills that will benefit young people in their future.
Young people can belong to a group and therefore have belief in what they can achieve a passion in what they do and be able to make a positive transition into adulthood.
